Steeped in tradition, poised for the future. Small School, Big Heart

Principal’s Message

Good Day and Welcome to Fort McMurray Composite High School.

My named is Mr. Danny Tulk and I am excited to take on my first full official year as Principal of this wonderful School.  FMCHS has been part of Fort McMurray since 1976 and is the oldest high school in the region, but don’t let our age fool you, we have undergone a major renovation and operate as a brand new building/school with first-class state-of-the-art facilities.   We are excited to be integral to Fort McMurray’s Past and its future.

Here at Composite we take a team and family approach to education and embody the concept of Miner Pride, we are a staff of close-knit professionals that strive to deliver the best education for our students from grades 7 to 12.

We have top-notch modern facilities for cosmetology, recording arts, mechanics, welding, automotive, drama, art, technology. Etc…  and endeavor to blend academics and school life.

I have been part of this team for a couple years now and am excited to be in this new role for me.  FMCHS truly is a small school with a big heart.  Come on in and say hello and take a look around our wonderful school. Let's have a great year.

Thanks,

Mr. Danny D. Tulk BA, B.Ed, MET.

Principal.
